Schéma machine à grains

Widely popular in recent years, the automatic machine with integrated grinder allows you to enjoy freshly ground coffee, without any barista pretensions.

Originally designed for espresso, most models today offer a multitude of options: ristretto , lungo , americano , cappuccino , etc.

These machines offer a perfect compromise between ease of use and cup quality, and continue to improve thanks to a continuous improvement approach on the part of the manufacturers.

Material

An automatic machine(Jura, De'Longhi, Melitta, etc.)

Water

Electricity(in case)

A filter recommended by the machine

Recipe

Quantity of coffee:Quite variable depending on the model and setting of the machine, but ideally more than 8g of coffee for a single espresso.

Celsius Coffees. All of them, in espresso roasting

Grind:fine (carefully consult the manufacturer's instructions)

Water temperature:ideally above 85°C

~ Do not fill your machine's grinder to the maximum , the coffee deteriorates quickly when exposed to air and light.

~ Be sure to clean and descale your machine according to your manufacturer's recommendations. The same coffee served from a dirty machine will taste radically different.

~ Experiment with the grind settings to find the one that suits your coffee: if it lacks body, reduce the size and vice versa if it is too intense.

~ If you like long coffees , do not run hot water through the grounds for more than 30 seconds. Instead, make a short espresso and top up with hot water (the hot water nozzle will be perfectly suitable). This will help avoid the bitter aromas typical of a coffee that has been "tired" by over-extraction.
