One of the biggest barriers to entry into the roasting business is the cost of equipment.

The main tool, the roaster, generally costs several tens of thousands of euros, and is not used to its full potential when starting a roasting business.

At Celsius, we started by taking advantage of the investment of another roaster ( Placid Roasters ), which allowed us to:

After 2.5 years of co-roasting, it was time for us to invest in our own equipment, in a brand new location in the heart of Lyon. We chose an Italian IMF roaster with a 15kg capacity, one of the most advanced brands and suited to our roasting style. You will find the detailed reasons for our choice on this link .

It is therefore with great pleasure that we welcome roasters from the region and beyond today, so that they can take advantage of this superb machine. We offer a training module, so that the trainee feels comfortable on the machine and safe. We also guide the trainee on roasting profiles to avoid missing the first spits. Then the user can roast independently, by reserving roasting slots in advance.
