Originating from the highlands of Malawi, Zomba Green is a bold and opulent green tea with vegetal and citrus notes. Easy to prepare, it makes a great breakfast companion.
Coming from a cultivar specially designed for the Malawian terroir, Zomba Green has been steamed, like a Japanese green tea.
The Satemwa plantations, organized as a kind of cooperative, offer their employees enviable living conditions for Malawi, including access to an education and healthcare system. These plantations also contribute to the conservation of the rich Shire Highlands ecosystem, fighting deforestation and promoting a diversified agriculture, from a multitude of plants to coffee, and of course, tea.
