Nm - Terroir

Peruis one of the world's leading producers of specialty coffee, renowned for its high-quality beans grown primarily in the mountainous regions of the Andes. Thanks to its tropical climate, rich soils, and varied altitudes (often between 1,200 and 2,000 meters)

In recent years, the Jaén regionhas gained visibility through national and international competitions, where its coffees have been awarded for their exceptional quality. Roasters worldwide are increasingly interested in this region for its unique profiles and rigorous traceability.

Nm - Producer

This coffee is a blend of the production of three small producers from northern Peru:Marcelino Chinguel Mijahuancca, Idelso Perales PerezandPaul La Torre Mejia. Each producer processes the coffee on their farm before delivering it dried to Falcon's warehouse, where the lot is prepared for export according to the importer's control and approval protocols.

Nf - Varieties

Geisha: The Geisha variety gets its name from the village of Gesha, Ethiopia, where it originated. It was discovered in the 1930s and then introduced to Central America (particularly Panama) in the 1960s.

It was in Panama, at the Hacienda La Esmeraldafarm, that Geisha gained worldwide fame in the early 2000s, after setting price records at auction. Recently, in 2025, a lot from this same farm sold for over $30,000/kg.

Beyond speculation, Geisha is a sublime variety that stands out for its eleganceand its tendency towards floral notes.

Nm - Treatment process

This is the naturalprocess (or dry method): coffee cherries are not pulped before drying. The bean therefore dries with its fermenting pulp, giving it more sweetness and body.
